Marketplace Error on System

Getting this error

An error was encountered trying to communicate with the Active Marketplace
make sure the Marketplace URL is set correctly in Tools -> Marketplace Systems.

Obvious first question - Is the Marketplace URL set correctly in Tools -> Marketplace Systems?

Make sure the URL has https and not http.

Make sure it is set to:

http://www.jamroom.net

NOT just

jamroom.net

Then you have a firewall or something else blocking your ability to reach jamroom.net form your server - contact your system administrator.
