I have the profile tweaks module enabled and installed. When a viewer is clicking the profile menu tabs on a profile w/ a custom background, the image reloads on each click. Shouldn't this be cached and stay loaded?

Just a thought.

That's up to the browser. Since it is a CSS background image, the browser should cache it.

I don't see this happening in firefox.

I understand. I'm seeing different results in safari / chrome. I'll checkout Firefox on my PC...

You're right (about Firefox). It reloads in IE, Chrome and Safari. that's fine though. I thought it was part of site cache. You can close this out. Thanks for clarification!

I was just doing some checking on this, and it looks like the browser will not cache a background image if the connection is made over SSL, so that may be what you are seeing if you are testing on an HTTPS connection.
