I canĀ“t make changes in the form designer, when I create a new field. I can create the field, but when I want to change label, sub label and help, it does not save the changes. All the other options in this form can changes.

make sure you update BOTH versions of the Form Designer form.

There is a CREATE form and an UPDATE form.

You can switch between them using the drop down in the top right hand corner.

I tried, but it doesn't work. The same with the other default fields like profile_name.

I just tested this here and I'm not seeing any issues with it - label, sublabel and help strings are changing and being saved.

What browser are you using and what version of the Jamroom Core are you running?

Thanks!

yeah testing the same setup here, and I'm not seeing an issue. Is it only on the profile form you see this or is it any form?

Thanks!

There's 2 different form designer forms for profile "settings" and "create" - is it happening on both or just one? Sorry for all the questions I'm just not seeing an issue with it and I want to be sure I am doing it exactly as you are.

What is the name of the custom field you are creating and what are you trying to set the label/sublabel/help to?

Thanks!

Working here for me without issue - I would need to have FTP access to your site so I could test it directly on your site to find out why it's not working.

One last thing you can try is logging out and then back in again - it could be for some reason your form session is "stuck".

Hope this helps!

No problem. I just got logged in and have figured out what is happening. The root cause is that you have your admin language set to German (de-DE), but the profile module does not have a German language file, so the lang strings are not being saved (since they don't have a slot to save to).

What you want to do is go to the User Accounts -> Tools -> Create a New Language, and "clone" the en-US lang to de-DE. Then, select de-DE from the language menu and customize the strings.

Once that is done, then you should be able to create custom form entries with lang strings saved to German.

Hope this helps!
