used to show all users logged in otr not
now it only shows logged in users
both options have value but knowing the total number viewing the site is most helpful to me,
however instead of simp;ly changing it back to showing all users as default in dashboard maybe seperate them into users online (members and guests) and logged in users
that way you can monitor both stats

I'll check this out - there was some changes I had to make in this area to get things working properly as plugins (so the Redis session would fully work) - I'll see what's going on.

yea it seems to be working like it was with redis enabled which is only showing a small number i guess it was only logged in users
in dashboard it kinda would be nice to have a total iusers a logged in members and guests as separate panels

fixed with regular sessions, but with redis it still shows wonky counts
it might say 1 or 2 but if you click users online you see many more

I'm not seeing any issues on this end - have been testing this on one of the very large sites we run on our servers and it's all working as it should. Make sure you're not sharing the Redis with any other site.

im not anymore redis is disabled on the other
it always only shows like 2 online and like 1/3 of the bots
maybe it closes the connection sooner so the 'connected' status expires much faster?

That's not how it works. Note that in the latest JR User release "bots" have a max session length of 3600 seconds regardless of what you have set for session length in the user global config - not sure if you've set your session length to really long so that it would affect that.
