How long does it take to see a bundle purchase to appear in my profile so I can download the files ?

Is there anything else I need to do ?

Thanks

you should be able to install it directly from the admin interface of your jamroom install.

It should work like this:

"How to install a bundle in Jamroom 5 CMS "

Just has the purchase link on the bundle and not the install link

is your marketplace system setup?
yoursite.com/marketplace/systems

click MODIFY on the jamroom.net "Marketplace System".

make sure you jamroom network user account is setup.

you will see this message there:
Quote: The Marketplace Email and Marketplace System ID can be found by logging into
your Jamroom Network User Account and viewing Account Settings -> Licenses

following that will bring you here:
https://www.jamroom.net/networklicense/licenses

That is where you get that info from.

Hi,

I added the FTP information, and I still keep getting errors after hours of trying.

Why can't I see the purchase under my account on Jamroom.net and just download/upload to my server ?

I assume that I copy the Marketplace Email and Marketplace ID and follow instructions "Copy and paste the following into your Marketplace » Tools » Marketplace Systems config:" and create a new Marketplace.

I am not sure what the Marketplace name on my site should be or the what the URL is as well.

I have tried numerous combinations, release the license on Jamroom.net and still nothing.

Depending what exactly I enter, I get one of two error messages, one being that I need/subscribe to a new release channels or I have bad URL.

On your website, go to the ACP > Marketplace > Tools > Marketplace Systems, click the modify button for the "The Jamroom Network" entry. The fields should have the following:

Marketplace Name: The Jamroom Network

Marketplace URL: https://www.jamroom.net

Marketplace Email: The email address found in your Account Settings > Licenses here on jamroom.net

Marketplace System ID: The marketplace ID found in your Account Settings > Licenses here on jamroom.net

After that is setup, click the Marketplace module in your ACP on your site, you should then see the modules that you have purchased and should be able to install them, same with the skins.

Hope this helps,
Douglas

I sent you a custom invoice for this, so the Bundle needs to be added manually - if you had just purchased it directly from the site it would have all been automatic.

I've been out of the town the last few days, but will get this added into your account for you.

Thanks!

I've got this setup for you - once you have configured your Marketplace (like Douglas outlined) you will see all the Super Pack items available for install.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Brian and everyone that helped.

I update the Marketplace name and https://www.jamroom.net and all is well.

I assume the bundle being manually added as well as the https in the url was the trick.

For those with the same problem:

Marketplace Name: The Jamroom Network

Marketplace URL: https://www.jamroom.net - (NOTE - HTTPS vs HTTP)

Glad to hear that is working. You can use http: OR https: on the marketplace URL - either will work.

Thanks!

I am having problems installing the bundle/modules.

One problem is that I am getting file permission errors on any module install.

Setting the "module" dir or any individual module dir to 777 disables the site.

So when I reset the directories to 755, the site will reappear in the browser and the module still wont install.

I also ran a system check returning with three errors, 1) Disabled Functions php.ini, 2) FFMpeg binary 3) Upload size

I have edited the php.ini in the root of the site. I did this multiple times and checking the site after a server reboot.

Several for the changes I made to the php.ini was
a) uncomment disable function line
b) totally removed the line
c) only deleted system from the line.

Another strange issue is that I have increased the memory allocation to a very high limit. This limit was from my JR4 php.ini ( btw that php.ini file in JR4 only had 2 lines of code just relating to upload limits and nothing else) The php.ini in JR5 was copied from outside my public root folder from the lib folder. I am not sure this makes a difference.

Nothing unusual in any of the activity, php, debug logs.

I ran the reset caches and Integrity Check as well.

Yeah sounds like something is messed up with either the permissions or the PHP config - are you in control of the server or is it on shared hosting?

Thanks!

Hi Brian,

I am in control of the server. Just to let you know I have been trying to troubleshoot everything for a very long time before asking for help.

Thanks,

Kevin

If you can, send me the SSH root login to brian [at] jamroom [dot] net, along with your JR5 URL and admin login and I can check it out for you.

Hope this helps!
