Is there a Way to upload an Album or song and have it only available to buy after a specific date so that it can be previewed and automatically released after a set date?

There is no way that is built into any skins we have created by default, this would be something custom for your site.

You would add a release date to the CREATE/UPDATE forms via the Form Designer

Then use that new field in the {jrCore_list} search parameters

for creating lists and wrap the download button / buy / whatever button in an {if} statement

that checked the Form Designer date was passed the current date and if it was, then show the button.

Wow, thats beyond my skill-set, Can anyone quote me for this a a private job? I am prepared to pay something reasonable?

Hi Brian - This is fairly straightforward to do and useful for Jamroom site managers to know about and understand. I can do it for you (for a modest fee) and then explain what I've done so that you can begin to understand these Jamroom features. Open a ticket with your site URL and admin login.
Do you want the audio still to show and be streamable, and only available for purchase after the set date, or not shown at all to normal users?

Hey Paul,

Let me now your fee so we can get this going: Yes I would want the audio to be streamable and when the release date reaches for the add to cart / buy buttons to show.

Just an advanced version?
I have photoshopped something to show the word PROMO before the release date has reached , which is replaced by the add to cart button once the release date has reached.

Or if there was a way to display the release date too so people would know when to expect it , That would be great?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for this, I have just run a test but found a floor where its showing the promo release date 3 times on this page

Also once I have noticed the modify album goes missing when its made into a promo / release date is set forward?

Have temporarily disabled the multiple showing on the promos. Will sort it out properly tomorrow when I have a bit more time.
