caching issue in new beta core?

hey im having some weird issues in the new beta, but its sorta ..inconsistent.. consistently inconsistent though
symptoms:
note symtoms make it unworkable and 100% consistent in edge browser, slightly more random in others
1 hen working in sitebuilder changes you made do not persist into the next time you enter sb, as if you are loading cached pages that shouldn't be cached, example enter sb edit a widget change results per page (or add the word test) save check page enter sb the former results pre-edit show trying to edit again and save always results in invalid form data (edge browser, always, other browsers sometimes)
2 marketplace update moldules get the all are updated notice go to another page then back again now it looks like all modules need updating again.

tested in developer mode
tested with litespeed server cache disabled
even clearing browser cache or ctrl 5 hard refresh doesn't always fix it

i even get the invalid form data after creating a gallery save then try to create a second 1

Not seeing the Site builder issue.
Steps:
Add a widget to sitebuilder with the timeline module and "results per page" set to 2.
With caching active at 300 seconds edit that ITEM LIST widget and change the per page to 3.

Expected:
I expected to see it stuck at 2 if i'm following your error report correctly, but it changed to 3 as expected.

I repeated and changed it to 4 trying to see the error. No error.

Possible its caching that the edge browser is doing by itself. Test also with firefox. If its only happening in one browser, its not related to the jamroom code, but to the browser being used.

well as i said its consistent in edge (filed a report with Microsoft) its inconsistent with firefox, but does happen its a lot less often with edge its a constant
i doubt you have access to a machine with edge though huh

that could be the case
it seems something is getting cached that shouldnt be ..or the cache control headers are being improperly handled in some cases
unfortunately i dont think edge has enough extentions yet to monitor the site data and try ti see whats being cached and what isnt

---yes in firefox, every other gallery i create causes invalid form data
to rectreate as i am creating
as master admin
i am creating galleries on another master admins profile (in case it maters)
i create a gallery then create another get invalid form data have to hard refresh or delete site cache (i have a cache cleaner that only cleans that sites cache)
every second gallery causes it

yea havin the issue when activating new installed modules as well. when i activate right after activating it says disabled till you hard refresh

I have noticed that to get something out of the cache I have to go to data/cache folder via FTP a lot more often than I normally do in JR5 ( Normally reset cache/integrity check does it)...maybe related...maybe not -just my observation

You should never have to FTP to the cache folder, or really even care about it. We've been running JR here on jamroom.net for 3 years now and I don't think one time I've ever "manually" deleted cache files.

Let me know how to see the caching issue and I can check it out.

try the thing i suggested as a master admin post gallerieso a seoerate master adminprofile after you add a gallery, add a second gallery then yiu get the error and have to clear cache and try again
also install a module then activate it it will imediately say its not active till you do a hard refresh
using ningja if it matters

I did my best to parse this sentence, but I'm struggling - did you mean to say "post galleries to a separate master admin profile" ??

example i am logged in as soaringeagle master admin and creator
carl gave me 4500 photos and i upgraded his account to master admin
i am posting new galleries to his profile http://fwi.dreadlockssite.com/carl-slegel/gallery
not mine
after posting a gallery i click + to add another upload pics then try to save save always fails on gallery 2 unless iclear site cache before clicking + to add the new gallery

I just tested this here and don't see an issue - I posted 3 galleries in a row on a profile for a master admin and it worked each time. What I DID see however was that the title of the gallery is not being cleared - so when you click on the + sign to create a new gallery, you see the gallery title from the previous save, so I will check that out.

but i think if you figure out why thats doing that it should point to the similar issues elsewhere

That's not going to help me at all - I need to be able to replicate the issue or it's hard to fix

I've opened a ticket on the pre-populating of gallery title - someone has added that in and I'm not sure why it was done, but am checking it out.

that certainly could be the cause of this issue but not all so my guess is its a script or something that should nver be cached but is being cached..or more likeky the output from the script that contains the item_id so its causing a duplicare item id conflict..let me check logs both site and server and continue testing till i spot any issues in the logs

server logs only see 1 thing thats a maybe
note however that when i create new gallery no title pre-populates when it fails to save the data and i reload (not clearing cache nor doing hard refresh) it does prepopulate the title and then (at least on this try) it works

this error appeared in the log about when i got the invalid form data error

that seems to be exactly the issue (with this) the title only re-populates onreload then and only then will it accept the data when i paste the title in it causes the error

sometimes it takes teaworkto figure it out haha but i do think its just a peice of the problem (i saw an update come out maybe u fixed it)

There should only be actual modules in the /modules directory. move the 'event.zip' out of there.
