Hello Jamroom,

I am getting this error when i try to import JR 4 to JR 5.
I have installed the modules for JR 4 in 4 and installed modules for JR 5 in 5.
I entered 8 numbers in the jrExport settings page and updated the page.
Also in JR 5 module settings i entered the address of the remote site and also entered the same eight numbers i entered in JR 4. I get the error message when i click save.

PS. E.G My JR 4 is installed in sub domain like old.jamroom.net and my JR 5 is installed at jamroom.net (Could i be having a problem because i am importing from a sub domain? I don't think this should be the reason, as long as i entered the url in JR 5 module settings. But if it is, kindly guide me through how to fix this.)
I also put a check mark in Local site since they are on the same domain.

Please help.
Thank you.

Check out the docs for the module here:

Docs: "Jamroom 4 Import"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/868/jamroom-4-import

See if they help. Also try without the checkmark as a subdomain is usually treated as a different domain.

Thank you for your prompt response.
I had tried it without the checkmark before trying it with the checkmark.

Secondly, yes i read and followed the documentation but it doesn't seem to address the issue am facing. Thats why i posted here.

Like i stated above.
FOR Example
I want to import from JR 4 - http://old.jamroom.net to JR 5 - http://jamroom.net

I went to JR 4 and entered 12345678 (Saved the page)

Went to JR 5 and entered http://old.jamroom.net and 12345678.
I get the error message when i try to save that page.
Which makes it impossible to import.

Try it with the www in the url of the JR4 site setting. I've had to do this sometimes to make it work.

Tips for when doing the import -

1) Before starting the import, install and enable the JR5 Rating module. JR4 ratings are part of the item tables so any JR4 ratings are created on JR5 at the time of importing the particular items.

2) Import comments last, after all the items that the comments are about have been imported.

Send me the JR4 and JR5 site URLs and admin logins as a support ticket and I'll take a look.
Thanks
