Question about Backup Module.

Just wondering, does the backups simply continue to grow on your S3 instance or does the module write over the last week's backup? I have it set to backup daily.

Need to be mindful of what I'm spending on S3, so need to know the behaviour of the backups. Thanks!

the DB backups are on a 7 day rotation, so after a week there will always be 7 copies of the database tables.

For the data, if the file already exists on S3 and has not been changed in JR, it is not copied back up. The data backup is not "rotated".

Hope this helps!

Exactly what i needed to know, thanks! Curious, do you include this info in the readme for the module? If so, I missed it. If not, would be great to add!

You're right - this should be in the readme. I don't think there is even a readme created for it, but that's something I will try to get done.

Thanks!
