I am an old JRM 3.4 user thats just getting around to Core5. In the old days, the core came with a lot of the needed files on the initial upload and you just went through the install/setup steps. However, the newer version just has a few core files....I assumed that after the install some additional files would automatically install in the root directory, but I only got a database install without any errors and no additional files ...not even an index.php file --just the same core files..

one more question...I dont think my 3.4 version is mobile ready -is that right? is the new version mobile ready? or is there some other module that needs to be install for mobile access?

I have already replied to this here - https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/new_posts/31872/installation-of-core-537 - please keep to one thread per issue, it makes things easier :-)

All Jamroom5 skins are fully responsive hence 'mobile ready'.
