Tested w/ 2 different Gmail accounts on Mac and PC. Getting this error after account creation, although the user account is successfully created. Ideas?

I've seen this before - I believe Google is doing some agent/user checking on the backend to prevent the module from being able to download the image (maybe a referrer a check or something), or they have switched to serving their images over "SPDY" (replacement by Google for HTTP protocol).

I've had this on my todo list for a bit, so I will check it out.

Hope this helps!

Some more research on this and it looks like this cane be caused by Google running a new version of SSL (openssl) on their servers than you have on your server:

Not sure if you can recompile against a newer version, but might be worth a shot. I'll keep reading to see if there is a work around.

Thanks! I'm on JBServers - would be a good read for DJ.

I have Google/Gmail account enabled in my OneAll Social settings too. Any update on this issue?

Thanks.

No - there is no update as it is not a JR issue, but an underlying curl/SSL issue.

Thanks!

Ok, I understand. So will it prevent Google users from login?

Thanks

No - they can login and create an account just fine - the system just may not be able to grab their google+ image for use as their profile image in Jamroom - the user would need to manually add an image in Jamroom.

Make sure and update to the OneAll module version 1.1.2 I just upload a bit ago - it fixes a Javascript issue grabbing the quota on signup.

Hope this helps!

I just uploaded it and installed. Will test. It was version 1.1.3 though.

Yep - that's good - 1.1.3 fixes an issue with using Twitter (Twitter does not return an email address).

Thanks!
