is vimeo 'client identifier' the same as 'vimeo consumer key' ?

You'll find the consumer key from the OAuth tab when creating your Vimeo app.

i'm not seeing it I see client identifier and client secret I used these in Jamroom and system check says there ok for vimeo so im guessing it its the same.

Yes, client id and client secret are the same as consumer id and secret.

I've changed the text on the config items for the next Vimeo module release so it lines up better with what Vimeo calls it.
