Disabled Functions

Hi,

I am getting a red flag after the system check (on JR5).

"Disabled Functions: Disabled PHP Functions can impact system functionality."

How to fix it? What should be enabled on the server? (I have access to my php.ini).

Thanks

Should say what function it is that is disabled, no?

Edit the php.ini and enable that function.

Isn't it shown there?

Try looking in your activity log, php error log, debug log.

Need to figure that out to enable it.

Please Michael, can you be more specific? What functions (exactly) should should I need to unable?

I don't know. If it was me I would expect to see that in the error message. If its not there, i would do the others steps to try to locate it.

The red error message you see in the System Check should tell you the exact functions that are disabled - does it list the function names that are disabled next to the error message?

Thanks!

Im having the same problem, in the value field I get 'dl' and in the note: Disabled PHP Functions can impact system functionality.

You can ignore that - Jamroom does not use the dl() function, so I'll get that added to the exclude list.

Hope this helps!

Yes, It is exact same error I am getting: "dl fonction". It is reassuring to know that it should be ignored.

BTW, when will the fix roll out? When will it be added to the exclude list? I am still having the red error. I know it won't stop the system from working or harm the site but having a red warning after a system check, it just doesn't make you feel too comfortable. :)

Thanks

I could be wrong, but I think it's out already - see if you can update the core through the marketplace.
