Just an update that we are actually rebuilding this module to make it easier to use - too many users have run into issues getting this to work. It's going to be a few days before it is wrapped up though, and it will likely need you to create new sets (as the data format is likely changing).
Sorry for the hassle, but we want to make sure and get it right this time.

its not there at all. what are you expecting to see there.
Run the integrity check.
The module doesn't have a Global tab any more. Everything happens in the Tools/Manager section.

It looks like the config.php file is still in place to delete the existing config setting, so just delete the file and the tab will be gone.
