Installed the gallery module, the tab, appeared on profiles. Uploaded a photo, then in went into a loop similar to this posting, http://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/genosis/15197/my-tree
therefor this email.

Deactivated the module, reactivated it, now the gallery tab has
disappeared. Also did the clear caches, integrity checks etc. Module is activated, but there is nothing showing. I'm sure I'm doing something silly, please help.

I've not seen this before - when you say it goes into "loops" is it AFTER the upload of images, or is that the images appear to be looping during uploading?

Thanks!

I installed the module. Activated it. Then I uploaded a photo to a gallery. Photo uploaded, when I clicked on the photo in the gallery, it loads and loads, the browser gives an error message.

What I noticed is that the photo file had an extra jpg extension, photo1.jpg.jpg

I deactivated the gallery module, uninsulated it, ran the clean cache and integrity checks.

When I reinstalled, under the media menu the gallery appears, but no where can I see the tab to insert a gallery and upload photos. I emailed my log on details earlier, I can do so again for you to please have a look. Thanks

Yeah something is not right there - makes me think the module did not get fully installed properly (although the marketplace checks for this). Try this:

- go into the info tab for the gallery module and delete it
- re-install it from the marketplace and try again

If you see this same issue again, shoot me your login info to support [at] jamroom [dot] net so I can check it out - the Gallery module is a really widely used module and I've never seen this before.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!
