Hello!
I am asking questions as things come up.

If I am exporting to a gedcom a family tree that has pictures, how do I get the pictures to go with the gedcom? How do I upload them with the gedcom? I see the box "import media archive" but when I click on it it opens up to select files on my hard-drive. I have never really worked with gedcoms before to know what to do with the pictures. Thanks! Lisa
So the important thing to know is that a GEDCOM file is simply a text file - there's no way to "include" any other files (images, whatever) inside the GEDCOM file - all it can do is have links to media files.
So that's what when you import a GEDCOM file you have to separately upload the media files using Genosis's import media archive - that makes it so when an import is going on, Genosis can grab the actual media file the GEDCOM is referencing.
Genosis doesn't have a media export function, since the assumption is that all the media is already on your PC and you upload it to Genosis - not the other way around.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks!
