Research Tab Question

Hello!

On each profile there are a series of tabs including one that says "research" and has Ancestry, Find-a-Grave, etc. If I add my log-in info will that allow everyone else to log in with my info? Or does each person add their own log-in info? Thanks! Lisa

Basically it's just a "helper" - you need to be already logged in to Ancestry.com in another tab in your browser - then when you click on it will generate and create the search for you.

Ancestry.com does not have an API, so there's no way to "share" your login with other users.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

It helps! I just didn't know what the other person would see is all. ;-) Thanks!

No problem - I actually use the research drop down all the time - it's pretty good for running quick searches on Ancestry and FamilySearch, as well as having a quick search into the census's.

I enjoy it too, and it is a wonderful feature! Thank you, Brian, for a wonderful (and thoughtful) program!
