solved Tree Front Page

When I click on the family's name in the upper left a page comes up that says "Featured" "Recent" "Images" & "Stories." Though there are people in that tree, why am I not seeing anything on this page? What do I need to do? ~ Lisa (who has a MILLION questions! ;-))

~~~~~~ Never mind ~~~~~ I figured out what I did! I merged this tree with the main tree, and the people are actually no longer in it. I did not realize when I merged that they would disappear from tree!

You'll want to setup the items in that featured section. You can choose which one's they are.

Go here:
http://simplylisa.net/genosis/core/skin_admin/global/skin=jrGenosis

and you will see:
featured profiles:
with this
Quote: Enter the profile ID's you want to show in the featured ancestor slider. Note: Separate multiple ID's with a comma, ie. 1,2,3.

Tip: You can find a profile's ID by looking at the profile - the ID is the number at the end of the profile URL

So you pick the profile id's that you want to show on your front page in that FEATURED section.

You can find the profile id's easily accessible in the USER PROFILE BROWSER which is here:
http://simplylisa.net/genosis/profile/browser

(If you don't want the name of your site published here, let me know and I'll change the urls to YOUR-SITE.com instead.)

Note that if you DON'T enter an profile ID's, by default it will select ancestor profiles that have a profile image. So make sure a few of your profiles have profile images and they will show in the front page featured ancestor rotator.

As for merging, nothing should ever be lost when merging. I will test that out here and make sure it is working properly.

Is there something I need to check-box in order for the profile images to appear in the "featured?" I have a handful of profile pictures I've added, but they do not show up on the front page.

Make sure the images are at least 512 pixels wide - the front page rotator doesn't look very good if the images are "pixelated", so it grabs profile images that are at least 512 pixels in width.

Let me know if that helps (I really should get that into the help somewhere).
