How do you get comments to work on the wall im on Follow Me skin
it don’t let you comment on the wall only at members photos or videos but not whats posted on the wall i/e active feed you have to click on album to post or videos to comment but wont let you leave comments on the wall but yet the link is there to comment.

Any Tips or code would be so helpful

We do not support comments on the timeline, but if you want to do something custom, the smarty code looks like this.

{jrComment_form item_id=$item._item_id module="jrAction" profile_id=$item._profile_id}

You want that somewhere in your jrAction_item_list.tpl, if you don't have one create one. You should have one in your skin dir. (depends on the skin). Be careful. Play at your own risks.

I did try that but it looks very untidy reply comment box very small you have to stretching it manually to make a comment!
if i could fix that i think it would work

Hi, was looking around to see if I can get the "Timeline" to show on the home page "ProJam 5" skin and came across yours. I have comments, seem a bit meaningless really. Any ideas if it's possible to replace it with "Timeline" please? Thanks.

The best timeline is on follow me skin in my opinion… Why they don’t make it that you can make a comment to members post on the wall is very weird it would be like FB if they did… You can comment at members pictures or videos but it don’t show that on the timeline on the wall also if you did..

Thank you @franko I've tried many of JR's skins and my previous one was Follow me! Each skin has it's nightmare I suppose. We can't have it all, but one does find some illogical things. You're a lucky one as I can see you understand code and where to put it. I've spent 3 days on the Pro5 now and only managed to sort out 4 things outta 12! I can't find Documentation concerning most of the widgets on the front page. The ones I have found go back to 2014. JR is the best platform created as far as I'm concerned - it's just getting it to do what it logically ought to do.

@annush if you have suggestions for improvements in the way things function now, add them to the suggestions forum category:

Otherwise if we just think its a request for how to customize your own site it will probably be treated as that and ignored once solved.
