Facebook has begun phasing out 3rd party players. The Facebook player has been removed from the audio module's next release and won't be further developed.

We need more information about the share this and batch edit issues to help you.

Batch edit don't have any issues. sorry for the confusion. i use this tool and check short url string on the datastore in the audio files and i found some of the files don't have any data in the audio_short_url_code field.

Before i use to used the share module like this:
domain.com/sharethis/shortcode which in my domain will be domain.com/url/xdpwwertt and redirect to the song or page for the short url.

Now i don't see the short url anywhere. that was so long ago i never pay attention, i want to implement something in the app using Proxima where I can implement the short url instead of the original url for songs. to shared link via social media. but don't work.

In version 1.4.0 of the jrShareThis module's changelog there is this

......
Version 1.4.0:
......
 - Change: URL Shortening functionality moved to new URL Redirection module

So the items that you are seeing that have shortcodes in them were created before 1.4.0 and the ones without have been created after the update.

Use the "URL Redirection" module to redirect to where you want to go.

Yes I have notice this. but this is a total different module in my opinion. ?
do I have to add every "b6GaZiTie3b8" short code and redirected to where the song is located one by one. is that is the case, that is crazy I have a tons of data.

second before when i click share this the social media pup up had the short url was on it. which make the post shorter. i don't see this anymore.

can i still go back to the old share this module?

The short URL's caused a problem with the ShareThis module and sharing items to Facebook. Facebook would read the short url and try to go there, then because it wasnt the same as the URL on the page, it would try again and get stuck in a loop.

This was the reason the short urls were removed.

Better to figure out what your goal is then build a module that fulfills the goal than to go back to old versions with known issues.

Well the plan is the follow the app the we still developing will have this featured where listener can share a song url to their friend as a text or social media etc. but we need a short url code in order for us to keep the url text small and prefix the url https://domain.com/url/shortcode now i need to find a way to get the full url from Proxima and implement this option.

thank you. :-)
