Is there a way to get the Profile Tweaks Custom Backgrounds to work in the FollowMe Skin?

In /skins/jrFollowMe/css/core_slidebar.css find
background-color: #d7dadc;
delete that line.

We'll get that fixed up in the next version of FollowMe.
