i see in profile tweaks it gives you the option to set per quota what default index page you want them to see when they sign in and i set it to timeline but no matter when i go look it still does not show timeline as default they have to change it manually in the account settings per profile but this would take all day to do is it not possible to change them all at once by setting it default or is it the skin that is doing this?

In your ACP > Profiles > Profile Tweaks > Quota Config, uncheck the Allow Custom Index for the quota you want to control the index page for, then set the index in the Default Profile Index and save changes.

You may need to reset your cache as well.

Hope this helps!

when does it do this? could you describe what actions you are taking to see if it is working please.

It should activate when you visit the profile url. If you visit a specific URL you can still see that.

Here is what I did, just want to be sure we are on the same page with the steps taken, and I'm not seeing any issues.

1. Went to ACP > Profiles > Profile Tweaks > Quota Config
2. Changed to my members quota from the Selected Quota drop down.
3. Unchecked the Allow Custom Index checkbox
4. Selected the Default Profile Index from the drop down selection ( I chose blog ).
5. Saved Changes.
6. Reset Cache.

Now for all of the profiles in my members quota the blog is the profile index.

Note that if the profile does not have access to a module, ie. jrAudio, then you can't select audio as the index for those profiles.

Also make sure your up-to-date on all your modules/skins.

Let me know if that works for you.

Hope this helps!

I'm thinking maybe Zach means the selection for the 'signup redirect page' and/or the 'login redirect page'... as found in Users>quota config.

Just saw the PM you sent me, I don't usually check PM's, so I should have been more clear on where to send that information, sorry about that.

Just looked at your Profile Tweaks module, and all of your quotas are allowed to change the default index, if you want to force a profile index, you may want to uncheck that box for that quota.

I'd test it for you but I'm not sure which quota your wanting to do this on.

Hope this helps!
