I have created a custom page and i am having trouble adding a custom title tag in the header of the page. All the pages that i have created using this template have the same 'Home' title .

are you using Site Builder to create the page or a .tpl template file?

If its a template file:
{jrCore_page_title title="whatever you want the title to be"}
{jrCore_include template="header.tpl"}

If its Site Builder, its in the page config.
