I am still trying to figure out why my 1 site wont update the core (and i get slow transfers between my server and jamroom marketplace)
i then noticed a dropdown selection next to update all items
when i selected the bottom 1 it asked to re-input my marketplace id and had an option to use as default
I was hoping it was 2 separate servers or networks..like a mirror
but neither 1 work
is 1 just the beta channel the other the release channel?

Yes, the beta modules are in the beta channel

thats what i thought but maybe the 2 should be labeled jamroom release and jamroom beta
was hoping it would alow me to update the core

You have 2 entries for jamroom.net in your Marketplace -> Tools -> Marketplace Systems section. You need to remove one of them and ensure the other is using the correct credentials for your account here on Jamroom.net.

they both use the same credentials i think betas marked as default
ps added the traceroute info to the poor database performance post trying to figure out why i have slow transfers
i can doame tst from another server to see if wgets slow from all or only jamroom

You're misunderstanding how things work. There are marketplace systems and there are marketplace channels. You have 2 SYSTEMS - you should only have ONE system. If you have TWO then you will see the drop down, even if they are the same. So delete one.

They could be added if you re-installed multiple times.
