Would I be able to add a link to artists page on the player?

Is it possible to alter the look of the player not the background but the style?

For both of these you would need to create a custom flash player. The one bundled with JR can be found here:

http://flash-mp3-player.net/

We can't support helping you customize it - you'd need to work with someone who knows flash (maybe N8Flex?).
