Still have my VPS host trying to understand why I cannot convert any videos- getting frustrating
Last 3 tries I look at the activity log and the video conversion error only contains in formation concerning Kickbox?
Are Kickbox and video conversion related?

Testing with Kickbox disabled- still getting the kickbox error messages...

The issue is with ffmpeg on your server. I've sent a message to your hosting company letting them know the error ffmpeg is throwing.

--edit--
The kickbox error is un-related. Its a bug in the core that old data can be attached to that ! box if you have ever deleted your activity log. The old error data was not deleted so it shows up there attached. Its old data from an old error.

Its fixed in jrCore 5.2.35 (an upcoming release)

"Hi,

I've compiled the latest ffmpeg from source and still converting mp4 files fails, but the avi files are converted successfully. Can you check with the Jamroom support team and let me know the location of the log file they provided. Also ask him what is the exact ffmpeg commend they are using in their script to convert the video files. "
