Hey Guys

Wondering would it be possible to have the Skin User Menu name auto change to which ever profile you are currently using.

Currently if you have multiple profiles, it shows the main account name, which can be a bit confusing as for example if you go to Followers you may not see the list you were expecting etc.

Thanks

The quick answer is: "That's your home profile id".

I see what your saying though. The first issue I see is page caching would need resetting each time the profile changed which would be each time you went to one of your other profiles.

I can see the issue too. When you click on the "Followers" menu in the menu item, you are taken to the list of the followers that is currently of the profile selected.

First Ideas:
1) a third level of menu that is sub "Followers" with the list of your profiles under it.
2) the same list that is currently in "Your Profiles" setup on the Followers page
3) change the name of the home profile to the currently selected one. (like you suggest)

I'll look into these options.

The "root" of this problem is that that is supposed to be the user menu - i.e. items that are related to your user account - NOT your profile. Unfortunately the followers module is one of the oldest JR modules and at the time of it's creation that paradigm was different.

We've got a ticket open on this and will come up with a solid solution that properly separates items that are PROFILE centered versus for your user account.

Thanks!

I've just released version 1.3.0 of the Profile Followers module. It moves "Followers" to the profile menu, which is where it should have been all along. Update and this should make more sense now.

Hope this helps!
