completed Google Maps on Events

I read the documentation, installed the module, made a custom form field in Events.

That part seems to work, I see the map and can enter a location successfully on the form. However when I modify an old event or create a new event the map doesn't show.

I put {ujGoogleMaps_map name="map" map=$item module="jrEvent" height="300"} in the Profile Events item_detail.tpl

I also added jrEvents to the Image Mapping Modules section of the Google Map Module and enabled the module for all quotas. I've cleared the cache but the map doesn't show.

What am I doing wrong - if anything?

ujGoogleMaps is a SteveX module.
Hopefully he'll see your post here but it might be an idea to post this on his forum -

I may be wrong but you may need a Google Map Api Id I believe what that is to have it work..and u place that in the global settings

Thanks, but I already have that and the map shows in the form. It just doesn't show on the actual event.

Try it as this below..This is how mines is working
 {ujGoogleMaps_map name="map" map=$_items module="jrEvent" height="300"} or
{ujGoogleMaps_map skin=true name="multimap" map=$_items module="jrEvent" height="250" map_type="hybrid" marker="infowindow"} both ways looks like it's been work I n g for me

Thanks, I've already tried adding this to the Profile Events item_detail.tpl

{ujGoogleMaps_map name="map" map=$item module="jrEvent" height="300"}

For some reason it's not working for me. The map displays in the form field but not the actual event.
