The Group Mailer module adds the means for group owners to email all members of a group (requires the Profile Groups module).

- Compose emails using the HTML editor
- Save email as a draft
- Save email as a template and use it as a starting point for future emails
- Select target group or send as a test to master admin

Get it from the Jamroom Marketplace via the above link, or install it via your site ACP Marketplace.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul, (or anyone)! I need a little help for how this works? I have installed it, cannot understand yet how group owners use it. I do not see any option or button for group owners to create the newsletters? Thanks.

Roy, you have to go to the module's Quota configuration tab and allow the different quotas to be able to access this ability ...or not.
Since most of my site's groups were created by either myself or my moderators, I have enabled the module function only for my MasterAdmin and Moderator quotas. You can enable it for all your members however.

Once you 'save' your module settings, if a member whose quota is enabled for the feature has a group they created, then they'll see this pencil BUTTON when on their group's main page:

GroupMailer module updated to V1.0.1

There was a bug in it that meant that none group members might get a group email. Please update from the marketplace asap before using this module again.

Thanks
Paul

I can't seem to get it up and running. It's probably staring me right in the face, but I am not sure. I did what Strumelia said, but still nada.

Have just looked at NT - Its not enabled for any of your quotas yet.

Give the quota's doc a revision:

Docs: "Quota"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/using-jamroom/2985/quota

'example quota' is just the first one created.
