Dashboard for different profiles

I want to add a dashboard for users which will show entries from calendar. Please guide me on this. I found that to add dashboard to profiles I will have to create a module. Can you please give some more details.

Dashboard as in the one that is available in admin profile page. I cannot see it in other user profile.

That is correct - the dashboard is admin users only, as it allows the browsing of all site data, as well as access to the activity logs. You will not be able to make that available to your normal user accounts (nor would you want to).

I do not want to put system data on in there for non-admin users. For other users I want to put a calendar of upcoming events, artist and venue information. I just gave an example of admin user's dashboard. Sorry for the confusion. Will I need a new module for this or is there any option available.

Yeah you would need a new module - the "style" of the dashboard can easily be done, but the existing dashboard is for admin's only.
