Hello:
I have registered in VIMEO.COM, I do not seem to see the following:
Vimeo Consumer Key, and Vimeo Consumer Secret.

Can somebody please tell me where on vimeo.com do I get these keys after registration?

Please tell me about soundcloud too. I have registered but cannot find where to find both soundcloud client ID and client secret.

There is no direction in the documentation on how to do this and which is which.

Jamroom5 looks like a child's play compared to the superior Jamroom4.

Thanks so much.
Randolph.

Go here:
https://developer.vimeo.com/apps

Create a new app (enter your site name.)

click on the 'oAuth' tab. It will show your
"Client Id (Also known as Consumer Key or API Key)"
"Client Secret (Also known as Consumer Secret or API Secret )"

For soundcloud:
http://soundcloud.com/you/apps

Register a new application

- Client ID
- Client Secret

will be given.

And for reference, for Flickr, go here -

http://www.flickr.com/services/apps/create/apply/

Just an aside, I am surprised how difficult these companies make it to actually find these pages. The links are usually hidden away on an insignificant part of their homepage, an even then, its not direct so you need to work through several other pages.
Don't they want 'developers'?
Also, they often change the route to these pages which is why its not practical to document it here!!

Jamroom 4 is still available here:

http://archive.jamroom.net/

If you would rather use JR4, there's no reason not to.

Hope this helps!
