I'd like to note the importance of sharing songs and artist profiles on social networks.

This is something JR5 has not cover at all in my opinion.. I've searching for social tools in the market, and I found only 1 result. That result is:

But that is not what I was looking for. I'd like to have similar features used by soundcloud or grooveshark (for ex) where they have a Share button with not only facebook and twitter but an embed option too.

Also, that button is included in all songs, besides another button to share the artist profile.

Maybe Jamroom5 could not have exactly the same function, but I'm requesting something useful to help spreading musician works.

I do not want you to misunderstand my message, I'm just suggesting things that I believe are very important.

Share button can be added to the Artist profiles.

The Javascript is already loaded into your system if you use the Share This Module.

So then you only have to add this into one of your profile templates:

<span class='st_facebook_hcount' displayText='Facebook'></span>
<span class='st_twitter_hcount' displayText='Tweet'></span>

I do it on my site and it works great. I'd show you but site still in Maint mode.

Share This should work well for you - the ShareThis section is added to all item detail pages - i.e. audio, video, soundcloud, etc. - your users can easily share a player directly to Facebook from an audio page, or any other content.

I've test the module using the url @douglas posted (thanks btw) and shared the audio player section on my facebook but it did not paste a player..

How can you do that, as you mentioned?

You may need to checkout someone else site that has the player working. I don't think I have my test site setup to post the player.

I see.. well I'm testing this site, because it's on Jamroom Showcase:

I posted that page on my FB wall but the player is still not appearing.. Is there a setting to modify to make it appear? I think it should be a default setting.

The option to share an embed code is also needed.
