As far as I can see the only way users can receive follower requests is via email.
As so many of these requests are being missed, would it be possibility to add a request button to users’ profiles?

User's can also choose to receive notifications by Private Note. They woud then an indication of new PNs on their profile.

Thank you Paul,

As far as I can see the notification option is only for users own requests not for those requesting to follow. I am referring to requests from other users.

Something like the other buttons would be helpful (image).

Isleander, sorry I'm posting this so late, but Several yrs ago I added a "pending followers" link to my members' profile dropdown menu, so they might quickly see if they have any pending followers waiting. Se my screenshot of the results.
If you can work through the steps/code of my old discussion on fixing that up in my custom skin code, it might work for you as well. (Make a site backup first!)
Here is the old discussion from when I had to get the code updated to get it working again:
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/my_posts/64176/my-skins-pending-followers-menu-link-count-stopped-working/search_string=pending+followers
and here is what the end result is in screenshot...

Thank you Strumelia

Do I just post the code in the Custom CSS box of the skin?

Thank you,
Alex.

As it says at the top of that linked discussion: "in my custom skin's Menu template".

Here is a link to an even earlier discussion, but not sure if you want to slog through reading the whole thing, it's ...epic:
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/my_posts/55796/helping-my-members-see-their-pending-followers/search_string=pending+followers
Parts of that looong thread are about how i got that code in the first place, and my clueless stumbling along on the path to get there. But there are related subjects that might be useful to you (or not), if you care to dig into it.

Keep in mind that the first thread i linked to came a good while later, after my original setup stopped working due to some jamroom updates... so it reflects the newer info.

there is a RESTORE FROM BACKUP button in your jamroom hosting panel here:
https://www.jamroom.net/isleander/hosting/domain_config/575/id=2124

Each domain has one, find it by clicking on the SETTINGS button in your hosting control panel.

So I don't need to back up the site manually? It backs up automatically?

You can, if you want. Its good to have some stored locally.

You have 1 weeks worth of backups here:
https://www.jamroom.net/isleander/hosting/backup_browser/575/id=2124

If you wanted to restore from older than a week then having a backup is useful. Backups of your site are part of the Jamroom Hosting package which you're using.
