Hello !

I need help to update my website (old version jamroom 4.3) and install it on a modern server

- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS,
- Apache 2.4.46
- PHP 7.4.9
- MySql 8.0.21

My site is very old but I have a lot of users.
I am all alone I will not get out of it, and the computer scientist who did this to me is no longer of this world :-(
I had a security key installed, but it cannot work properly with my old php and linux environment and I am considered a "dangerous site"

Can someone tell me where I should start to have any chances of continuing with a new server ?

I am also very afraid of losing my data in jamroom updates, despite my regular database backups

thank you so much

Hi Didier
As you are probably aware, support for Jamroom4 ended more than 5 years ago. Also, Jamroom4 will not work on servers running latest versions of PHP.
However, it may be possible to import your members, their content and uploads etc. to an equivalent Jamroom6 site. Let me know the URL of the site, and I'll take a look. It'll also help if you send the admin login to support[at]jamroom[dot]net so that I can check it 'from the inside' as well.
Thanks

My website is : www.ondomaniac.com/portal1/
(because I have created portal )

How do I send the administrator login to jamroom support so that you can then log in? I did not understand.

But already if you can tell me more I will be very happy

Send login as an email to "support [at] jamroom [dot] net" (replacing the [at] and [dot] with @ and . of course).

I see that the site is reported as unsecure. Can you get your security key removed so that we might see the site?

I have also been contacted by support for the same problem. So you are part of the support, Paul?
I do not know how to "remove the key" it is not me who added it.

But I am asked for access codes.
Which ? those for the root server or those for the jamroom portal?
I send it soon
