solved Notifications - Email or Private Note

Had a report of a user not getting notifications, and when I checked, some of her notifications didn't have any setting of the check box.
There used to 3 options for Notification: (a) Do Not Notify; (b) Send Email; (c) Send Private Note.

Has this Private Note option been removed?
I attach a screenshot of this user's Notification settings.

Hi Lorna
Be sure this user is in a profile quota that allows Private Notes. Have just looked and your 'Sellers' quota does not allow them. Is this user in that quota?

Thanks for looking at this Paul.
This is a Standard User group (All Users quota). We don't have anyone in the Sellers Quota.
I am able to send Private Notes to this user. I'm just querying what happened to the option to send Notifications as Private Notes instead of Emails. I no longer have that option on my Account settings either.

The screenshot attached is an old one and not the latest settings screen, but it shows the option for notifications by Private Note. I'm sure it was there a couple of weeks ago, because when we had a problem recently with email notifications for Likes, I was suggesting to people that they choose Private Note notifications instead of emails.

Hi Lorna - this is actually my fault - the User Module update was released that switched notifications over to a new "plugin" architecture - I've just pushed up Private Notes 1.6.0 that should fix this. I had not updated the release version of Private Notes so it didn't flag as pending release on this end - sorry about that.

Let me know how that works.

Thanks!
