solved Server Move

Hi there

Having a small issue

I moved a site to a new server and domain name.

I have imported the DB
moved the files and fixed the config.php

i also made sure the .htaccess was there and all files.


i get this error

error: jrCore_checktype: unable to load checktype plugins

if you can get into the ACP run the integrity check, if you cant, rename the repair.php.html to repair.php and open that in a browser.

access via SFTP.

Hi there, thanks for the reply, i cannot get into the ACP

Just tried to re upload all the core files, i tried running the repair.php and i still get

error: jrCore_checktype: unable to load checktype plugins

This means not all Core files were uploaded to the new server - Jamroom uses symbolic links, so my guess is you just uploaded the symbolic and NOT all the files that are inside. Make sure you've upload ALL files to your new server.

I did but i used FTP, going to see whats gong on, tried to upload in Cpanel and via FTP.
think i need to do SFTP

Well welcome back :) Make sure you copy everything recursively - you want all subdirectories, etc.

Thanks i got the site working again, are there any special or coupons or upgrade options i need to know about before getting the premium ?

i need to load music and based on the modules i need i may as well get premium.

Glad to see you got that fixed up. Do you have an older Jamroom license - i.e. Jamroom 3 or 4?
