Hello.

Does jrNova skin support "Jamroom's multilingual system" like jrProJamLight does?

If so, which are steps I have to follow?

Does it allow this code?

<a href="?set_user_language=xx-XX"><img src="/skins/XXX/img/flags/xx.png" alt="XX" title="LANGUAGE"></a>

I ask because I don't see the little flags in jrNova screenshots..

Thanks

Yes - it works the same - you can add in whatever flags/languages you would like.

Hope this helps!

I know we don't have a Spanish language file for the Nova skin.

If you do get one translated, and don't mind sharing it, send it to us and I can get that worked in for an upcoming release of the Nova skin.

Thanks!

It's not something that is going to be coming really soon, but long term I want to set language's up so they can be shared and loaded directly from within the ACP - i.e. you'd go to your language tab for a module and you'd only have en-US installed (for example) - you'd click on "get more languages" and you would see a list of translations for that module that have been "shared" by other JR site owners. One click and it would setup in your site as well. You could also choose to share your own custom translation.

I think that would be really cool ;)

another thing that could be good language related is a common language set that could be used between skins.

currently language files aren't shareable across skins.

Perhaps a module that contained a common set of language strings that skins could tap into if they wanted.

I'm agree with you Brian, that could be awesome :)

One more question. When I switch my site to english version on Home page, then it goes back to spanish if I go to another section.

I want to keep the selected language untill I choose another one. Which is the trick?

pd: I translated the jrNova skin lang file - download and share from here

Thanks!

Thanks @andrusito, I'll get that added to the Nova skin for the next release.

Take a look @michael

http://devocionmusical.com/jamroom5/

You might try clearing your browser cache, it is working for me on your site.

Changed the language to Spanish, and then clicked the artist button and the language stayed in Spanish. Using FF browser.

Hope this helps,
Douglas
