anyone know any way to wipe the browser history of visit to your site?
either on leave or by button action
the site will be the most important site I built, but if certain people .. who don't respect privacy.. find it in the history it could endanger the people we aim to help

either
* the HISTORY tab of the browser, OR
* use private browsing mode which keeps no history OR
* use a different browser just for that site and delete its history each time. ( I do this for facebook and chrome, both of them want to track me so I only ever use them together, then a different browser for all my regular stuff )

Maybe this one:

I did a search for javascript to clear history and it looks possible with some browsers, but not all.

Have just googled again - https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=javascript+to+clear+browser+history - and there is quite a bit about this, including some scripts that claim to work - http://www.dotnetvishal.com/2012/11/clear-browser-history-using-javascript.html

Maybe checkout some of the other search results?

on a related note, but not worth a new thread. is there a way to have email notifications off by default then just turned on by the ones who want them
even if i need to edit a php file
safety is key with this site
