i hate that when you right click to correct a typo (and you know me i typo alot) instead of giving you the correction options you get a link thing
theres already a link option in the toolbar why should it also disable the typo correction abilities

Yeah, you're right. Where did that come from....

I'll see if I can get it back to what it was.

Thanks.

The fix is going to be adding:
contextmenu: false,
into
jrCore/form_editor.tpl
jrSiteBuilder/form_editor.tpl

The cause of the issue is the 'link' plugin:
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/plugins/link/

and the 'contextmenu'
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/ui-components/contextmenu

Quote: ....By default it does not disable the operating system’s native context menu, if there are no items to display at the cursor position the native context menu will be shown....
Since you can always link anything 'link' is turning up all the time. Even when what you want is really spellcheck.

Thanks for reporting this.

What do you do if you don't want to allow HTML? I've unchecked it in the quota config, but yet the text field still makes the text tags

the wysiwyg editor generates html no matter what. you can add bb coide orr html codes to the plain text editor (like here) if those tags are allowed
disalowi9ng them doesnt affect the tags generated bytinymce text editor
at least im pretty certain

You cannot use the Editor without allowing the default set of HTML - that's the tags that are needed in order to support the editor. If you do not want HTML at all you need to completely turn off the editor.
