I’m having an issue with my site builder. I recently had back surgery, after I’ve recovered I went back to my website to update its home page. I click on site builder button, it opens. Then I attempt to edit the module sections on page. I click on the gearbox icon, nothing happens. I create a new module, it works. I click gearbox, again it is not working. I’ve cleared cache/temples/database, again it’s not working. I reload the module, it is still not working. I checked system updates, the entire system is up to date.

I’m using the follow me skin, I’m using jr6.3.1b2. Yes, I’m using jr beta on a live site. Not sure if this is a beta issue that will resolve with the next update or is this something that I can fix on my own. This issue occurs on mobile, iPad and desktop browsers. Both Firefox and safari. All of my browsers are up to date because I’m using the latest devices on the latest iOS/MacOS versions.

I fixed the issue. It was some broken code in my widget. After deleting the offending code, site builder works as it suppose to.

Actually the problem still persists. The only way I can access the widgets is by switching themes. Doing that caused the offending code to not affect the site builder. But once I switched back to the originating skin, site builder stopped working again. With that being said, I must now switch back to a different skin to track down the java code that’s causing this to happen. It’s either a bad piece of code or a conflict with jr communicating with my (registered) ssl certificate

Whats the URL of the page? there may be some javascript errors in the console that will give you more information. on Firefox hit F12 to open the developer panel, then select the CONSOLE tab to see if there are any errors.

If I were to delete the active skin for the website and acp, what’s the worse that can happen? The issue seems to be in the audio pro skin. None of my save/submit buttons are working

The page is loading for me with no console errors.

Is there a reason you need to be using the beta. That could be the issue. Have you run the integrity check?

--edit--
https://www.alabamasfinest.com/ is a wordpress site, not jamroom.

😂 it’s not Wordpress, it’s jamroom. I’ve done a massive facelift using the site builder. I am using the beta because I was very eager to try jr6 when the beta channel was released. I assume I’ll disable the beta channel.

After looking at the console in Firefox, I am getting a lot of warnings and errors that points to my current skin (Audio Pro). I’ve tried rolling back to an older file version to see if it works like it did in jr5 but it is still stuck. Save buttons to not work. Since this theme is the current theme for the entire site, how do I go into the database and change the theme to a working theme? It was easy to do in previous versions of jr but the db structure of jr 6 is more elaborate than previous versions.

The location for the skin in the database is:
TABLE: 'jr_jrcore_setting'

Locate the row of jrCore active_skin and change its value to whichever skin you want. It may take time to clear the caches if you have them on.

If you want to send me your admin login details I can take a look at what the warning/error is in site builder, but I'd need an admin account to see that section of the site.

Send details to support at jamroom dot net along with a link to this thread.

After searching high and low, I managed to figure it out. I changed the skin using the sql db, cleared cache and it worked. There seems to be a JavaScript issue with the Audio Pro skin. JavaScript on click function is not working but seems fine on other skins. I turned off the beta channel in my marketplace. Hopefully the next jr update will fix this issue with Audio Pro skin because I really love that skin and everyone loves the customized layout. I put in a lot of time getting things to where I want it. The current skin I’m using is not what I want but it is something that I can love with until the issue is fixed. I really appreciate all of the insight that was given to me. Thanks guys
