solved How to resend activation email for pending members?

I now have my network set up to automatically accept new members after they have clicked on an activation (opt in) email. The activation link sends them to a Terms of Service page with an acceptance checkbox, after which they can choose to continue to their profile page or log out.

If they do not click on the activation link, their account appears in the ACP User Account Browser as "Pending". At this point, I (Admin) can choose "Modify", "Approve" or "Delete".

If I choose "Approve", the profile page will go public before the new member has agreed to the Terms of Service. I don't want this to happen.

If I choose "Modify", I see the new member's Account page with a banner message (see screenshot) and again, can either "Approve" or "Delete" the account. At this point, what I really want to do is "Resend the Activation Email", as many new members remain stuck at the Pending stage, and may not have seen their activation email even if it went to their direct in-box.

A further useful option might be to automatically resend activation emails for up to (say) three times at selected intervals, and then to automatically delete accounts after the last activation email has expired.
