solved Restoring deleted image from recycle bin - not restored

I wanted to restore a couple of recently deleted images.
In the Recycle Bin, I found the first image and clicked Restore. As expected the item disappeared from the bin and I got the message "This item was successfully restored".
However, the image has not reappeared in the user's gallery, half an hour later. I have cleared site cache and it's still not there.

I tried it with another image and that hasn't been restored either.
I cleared cache on my PC.
I've looked at the gallery the second image should have been restored to https://pmp-art.com/tiggertennant/gallery and it shows there is 1 image in the stats, but it's not visible in the gallery. Please see attached. If the gallery were empty, it would say "you haven't added any items yet". Clicking the forward arrow to see the gallery gives "page Not Found". [Also I note that my menu items aren't showing on the screenshot, but clearing caches again has fixed that.]

did you clear the sites image caches:
ACP -> MODULES -> CORE -> IMAGE SUPPORT -> TOOLS -> RESET IMAGE CACHE

@michael I didn't know about the Image cache. I only cleared the ones that are on the 'reset caches' list, except for forms and icon reset.

I have now cleared the image cache. It has not changed anything. My two restored images are still not in the user galleries or in the recycle bin.
This is the other gallery https://pmp-art.com/st3phaniex3/gallery/artwork/all
It should contain 2 images including a painting of a horse's head. The horse was deleted and restored but is not in the gallery or the recycle bin although the stats for images includes it.

You don't need to reset the image cache - on a site of your size I would recommend not doing it - you have hundreds of thousands of cached images.

I did fix a bug related to restoring profiles from the RB - this could be related, so I will check it out.

@brian thanks for that advice ( in the words of Alanis Morriset, "the good advice that I just didn't take" :/ At least I know not to do it again.
I will await your investigation. I haven't had trouble restoring Profiles, though I've not had to do that for quite a while, but this is the first time I've tried to restore an individual image.

This is affected by the same issue I already fixed that impacted restoring profiles. I've updated your site to 6.1.7b1 that fixes this issue, so you should be good going forward.

Thanks!
