Hello JR

I was working super fast and I made a mistake.
I was trying to reset user account password and I change master profile to profile admin when I click save. I saw my avatar for a second after i click saved. guess what? now. I don't have admin access to my website. lol

how can i correct this?

Just go to your hosting page here on our site and then to your site settings and reset the admin info.

I assume you're hosted.

Not Hosted here!!
So, goto your database admin, find your user datastore in the Jamroom user_key table (likely _item_id 1 if you were the original master) then set its user_group value from ‘admin’ to ‘master’

That works like a charm. Thank you. Lesson learned :-)

The next version of the User Accounts module will prevent this - probably should have been in place a long time ago. I've updated the module so a master admin account cannot change their own user group in the account settings.

I just updated the Marketplace with version 2.3.1 of the Users module that addresses this:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket/44/users

Let me know if that works better :)
