Blog Publish date

When creating a Profile blog, if the 'blog publish date' is changed from the default of current date/time to a date/time in the future, does that act like scheduling the blog for future publication, or is the blog still published immediately?

One of our users said they have tried setting an advanced publish date and the blog wasn't published at all. I tried it myself in my non-Admin user and it appeared that the blog was published immediately.
I'm trying to test further, but I just wanted to first check what the intended effect is.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The publish date is what will appear on the blog. If the date is in the future, the blog post should not show until then.

The profile owner and site admin will see the blog, other users and visitors will not until the publish date.

I've tested this on my dev site and I'm not seeing any issues.

Hope this helps!
