The daily limits set for visitors audio file = 3 plays , and the limit is not working

There is no way to set a limit for visitors. Use the "Require Login To Stream" if you want to limit visitors. Then they will have to login and they will be limited by their quota setting.

So may be write some code that gets the visitor's IP address , if user's visit is more than 3 minutes , then redirect to sign up page , or get the user IP address , if user not logged in , then media limit = 3

This is just my pot brain at work. , I hope to see this in jamroom ...

can you modify stream file limit to a quota limit ? i.e. 3 if not logged in , I think I remember this in older JR....

Set the max media allowed if the user is not logged in , or a cookie that would expire breaking the media link

It looks like you have created a quota and named it "Visitors".

Mine looks like this:

Yes I created a quota name visitors , in JR 4 as I remember you can set how much media visitors have access to , more over the feature is there in JR 6 but it seems to be not working

As stated above by Michael, there is no way with this module to limit visitor plays. Either disable visitor plays completely and make them log in, or consider sponsoring development of this, or another module to do what you want.

As far as I remember with JR 4 you could set visitors limit on media .....

Maybe you could, I can’t remember, but JR5 onwards is a new rebuild that works completely differently. If this feature is a requirement to your site, see my post above.

JR4 had some cool features , and some of them still not back in JR6 , like admin radio , you could create a radio station with just a few clicks , i.e. you could create a station from quota , artist name , genera without writing any code ,all you had to do is point and click ...

I would like to see some of these features come back in JR6

In JR4 you could even set visitors stream length i.e. 15 sec.
