I was looking here for the syntax - https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/194/editor-embedded-media but I find that it is not working on my site using Audio Pro.

[jrEmbed module="jrAudio" search="audio_genre = rock"]

Can anyone confirm the issue?

Have just tested this here and it works - what is the URL to where you see it not working?

Thanks!

Hey Brian. I tried creating it as an admin for a blog and no go. Playlist display fine.

I think I have login info on one of the open support tickets if I want to look.

Have just tested this on a blog here and see the issue - the editor is messing with it. I'd recommend using the "Embed Local Media" button in the editor if you want to embed something, although I know that does not give you access to the "search" option. I'll see if there's a workaround or not. In the meantime you could just make a custom playlist for a bunch of songs and embed it if you need something working right now.

I've put a small update in place on your site - can you let me know if that works better?

Thanks!

Something weird is going on on your site - there's additional HTML tags being added around then tags that I don't see locally here, so not sure what is up but I'm checking it out.

My guess is that you cut and pasted the embed code from somewhere else - it had bad HTML tags around it that you could see by using the "code" view in the editor - it's working now that I removed the extraneous tags:

Odd. What is also weird is that I get a single player where the song loops to each one (I am assuming). It should display each track individually.

Appreciate the fix.

What the player looks like will be determined by the skin. If your skin uses a single player rather than one with the track listed in it then that will show.

You can change what shows in by overriding the item_embed.tpl file for the audio module if you want embed to be different to the other audio players.

Hey Michael. My playlist used to display one song only. Brian made a fix to the template and hen it displayed correctly. I am wondering if this is the same also. It does not make sense to me to not display each song individually because the other way would be so limiting, It would be like listening to a radio station without being able to change a channel.

If you want to make a "station" then embed a playlist - that's going to be the recommended way of doing it, since then it uses the playlist player which shows the individual songs. When you just embed fro jrAudio it's just going to use the individual track player.

Hey Brian - I think I am thinking of the old flash players Nate made. When I created a search for a genre it created a playlist. So I had a nice list of every tune in the player.
