solved New Payments Module and existing Products

I'm trying to setup the new payments module with existing products on my test site.The products were created using the merchandise module(for foxycart).The payments module seems to work with its own products module .
Will I have to recreate the existing products for them to work with the new payments module?

At the moment, yes, you'll need to add them all again.
We'll see if its possible to add a tool to copy Store items to Product items before the module comes out of beta.

OK Great...I'm happy Paul responded to this.
I need to send a private message(or email) related to the Custom module you guys did for me and its integration with the new payments module.
