Vimeo and Soundcloud Error, both shows this error "You do not have the proper privileges to perform that action!"

Vimeo and Soundcloud Error, both shows this error when a user that is not Admin tries to upload vimoe or Souncloud "You do not have the proper privileges to perform that action!"

Any Solution or workaround?

My guess is you need to reconfigure your quotas for the module, and any other module which might be limiting the number of items.

If that doesn't work, check your error logs, check you have entered your vimeo etc details correctly.

@ultrajam Thank you for your response, but it issues not yet resolved. it looks strange to me because the Youtube is working fine except for VIMEO and Soundcloud, and Also Admin profile is ok, but other users gives this error, i have check the error logs cant find any error. please anyone encounter such issue with this 2 modules please kindly help with solution.

check YOUR-SITE.com/profile/quota_compare and make sure your profiles have got those modules enabled.

@micheal i really appreciate you guys support in helping to resolve this issue, but note i checked the quota_compare the SoundCloud and Vimeo module is enabled see attached screenshot for status. but yet problem still persist. i will be glad to receive your help in resolving this issue. thank you.

At what point do your users get this error? You say on 'upload' so is that when opening the create form, or when clicking on the button in the create form?
Can we get a user login so that we can see this happening ourselves?

It happens when you click the create(+) on the create form for Vimeo or SoundCloud.

I had a couple of members who would get that permissions error when they tried to post stuff in their profile page Timeline. I have my site set up to enable Admins to post in their profile timeline, but NOT allow regular members to post in their Timelines.
These members would click on their profile page timelines, it would open a textbox for them, they'd type a comment, then click to publish it, and get the error.
Here is how one of my members described it:

"What do I need to do to post a general comment? (that would come up on 'latest activity')
If I go to my own page and click on 'latest activity' a text box, just like this one, opens up. So I write my comment - in this case including info about the Kindred Gathering coming up - but when I go to post it, or update I think it says, I get: "FOTMD says: You do not have the proper privileges to perform that action!" "

I have my Timeline module Quota Config set to allow Can Post Activity Updates for Admin, but UNchecked for regular members. Apparently however, they can still get the textbox if they click on their timeline, can type in a comment... but then they get the same error when they click to actually publish the comment they've typed. Ideally I suppose they shouldn't get the textbox pop up at all.

Perhaps something similar is at work involving imade's Vimeo and Soundcloud modules as well?

This issue is unrelated, but the solution is to figure out where that textbox is and remove it. My guess is its part of the skin under the assumption that the timeline is activated and there is no check around it. Probably in your skins profile_index.tpl file.
