Where do I find the audio files using ftp?

I need to get the path to the mp3 files.

Probably in the users directory within /data/media/

Don't link to that directory from any web url though, if you want a file for some mobile device or other use a php file to retrieve it, check the user is allowed access, then deliver it from there.

Thanks, I have a lot of folders and subfolders there, but all of them seems to have profile images.. is that ok?

Hi @ultrajam

when I access to a folder that contains mp3 files I get a Not Found error:

http://devocionmusical.com/data/media/48/47287

Also, the direct mp3 link doesn't work:

http://devocionmusical.com/data/media/48/47287/jrAudio_2581_audio_file.mp3

Do you know why? thanks.

See comment above: Don't link to that directory......

That directory is not supposed to be linked to, its all blocked. It wouldn't be a very good system if the songs for sale could be directly linked to and downloaded.

I had seen it but my songs are not for sale, that's not a problem for me.

when you said "use a php file to retrieve it".. does Jamroom have such file?

Anyway, this is not the problem.

I'd like to access that media folder from an external audio player and tell it "play all songs from that folder"

Some players let me do that, but does Jamroom let me do that?
