solved Importing a CSV into genosis ??

I'm working on a tree for a friend who has everything in excel - i've found some manual methods of creating a gedcom file from it - is that the only method of getting the data into genosis ? have you though of creating a process for it ?

after a while of digging around I found this exec2gedcom.xls at https://sourceforge.net/projects/excel2ged/
and after a little modifying the macro it ran ....
